We purchased this for my 3-year old son's ballet recital. The little girls were Tinker bells and he was Peter Pan. It worked out very well, and I'm certain I paid less than the parents of the Tinker bells who purchased real "ballet" costumes. It seems like good quality for a costume, and he loved wearing it. It runs a bit large if you child is skinny, do not purchase a bigger size than usual. Note, the model on the package is actually wearing the hat backwards. If you look at the drawing of Peter Pan, the back of the hat points up, not back as in the photo. Also, plan to take a bit of time to sew some elastic on the hat so it stays on.

This costume was clearly not what I expected. The hat is horrendously horrible. It is a cloth-wire based fold-out type of hat. It does not look like the picture at all. The boot coverings were horrible as well! The coat was a very loose, light cloth, which was real cheap looking. The headband/dreads were pathetic. The best part of the costume was the shirt, which in its own right wasn't the best, but it did the job. The pants were also okay as well. Needless to say I had to get a new hat which was more like a real Tricorn. I had to get a different jacket and of course different boots. I couldn't be Jack Sparrow with anything less. So, all in all it is a good starter set, but if you want to really look the part of Jack Sparrow, you might have to scrape out some more money. My costume was an amalgamation of a variety of different props/accessories. A side not though, I did win my Halloween costume party by a land slide. Just be cautious, what you see is different from what you get.

This costume is the worset costume ever!! Nothing is good!! I bought it as a Halloween costume but I don't want to wear it because it looks so cheap, idiot... just ridiculous!!! I woudn't buy if it cost $15. Everything is totaly different from the picture. I think it's kinda fraud. Let me say again, DON'T BUY THIS COSTUME!!!

I was considering purchasing this until I got it out of the Bag and began trying it on.

I have to agree with the first reviewer.
I'll say the Hat was ridiculous, the hair/braids were okay, the shirt/vest has multiple attachments to it such as two belts that were flimsy and cheap, and the outer coat and boot coverings were like some junky felt material. Surprisingly, in the mirror It all looked a lot better than it actually felt while wearing it.

I also consider the price in it's worthiness, and the price in store was $128 which is another reason I was not thrilled with it. The price here on Amazon ($85) is great in comparison, and much better than most of the stuff I have seen for $50-$75 in stores. Most have a cheap feel to them, but at least this one has a lot of detail.

Just don't wear the goofy hat.

This wig is great. It is a licensed wig so is looks authentic. With the licensed Mad Hatter hat (Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Hat, Disney) it looks absolutely amazing. If you want the hair to stick straight out like in the movie while wearing the hat you will most likely need to use a bobby pin or two (to attach it to the hat) and a bit of hair spray. If you are going for an authentic Mad Hatter look then this wig is a must have. People absolutely loved this wig! Get it, you won't regret it. Don't forget the hat pins! My husband wore this throughout October, anywhere he could get away with it!
It looks great with the Mad Hatter hat, but pretty stupid w/o it- get the hat!
The wig will keep you warm and it was a bit itchy.
